Originating in 2014, the Oxford-Pershing Square Graduate Scholarships offer a maximum of six comprehensive grants encompassing both the Master's and MBA degrees. Awardees have the freedom to select any of the partnering programs for the 1+1 MBA and combine it with our own MBA.


Recipients are extraordinary individuals who can exhibit the capacity and dedication to discover scalable and sustainable solutions to global social challenges.

Scholarship Details




Value

Tuition expenses for both the Master's degree and MBA curriculum, along with a stipend for living expenses amounting to a minimum of £17,668 per annum for the duration of the two-year study period.

Eligibility criteria

Your eligibility for the scholarship will be assessed based on the following prioritized criteria:

1. First consideration will be given to new applicants applying to the Oxford 1+1 MBA program

> It is essential that you have been accepted into a 1+1 MBA partnering program as well as the MBA itself before the selection process begins. Please note that individuals who are on the waitlist or have undergone re-evaluation will not be taken into account.

2. If you apply for a full-time one-year

> Master's course that is not currently included in the official list of 1+1 MBA partnering programs, and also apply separately for the MBA program, your application will be considered as the second priority.

3. The third priority is given to individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Moving into the MBA year and were not considered for the scholarship in the previous year (e.g., waitlisted or re-evaluated applicants).
  • Being admitted to the MBA program while currently studying in one of the 1+1 MBA partnering programs.



Selection criteria

Scholarship selection criteria:
  • Academic distinction evidenced by degree outcomes, GMAT or GRE scores, prior academic accolades, and other scholarly accomplishments.
  • Leadership potential demonstrated through experience and motivation.
  • Strong personal demeanor, ethical values, and unwavering dedication.
  • Determination to address global-scale social issues in your professional trajectory, either within an established organization or through the establishment of a new venture.
  • Capability to envision and devise scalable and sustainable solutions for these challenges.
  • Clearly articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA program will enable you to accomplish your objectives.

It is advisable to emphasize these qualities in your application for the 1+1 MBA program, scholarship essay, and interview responses.

To be eligible for consideration, it is imperative that you submit a comprehensive application for both courses and upload the scholarship essay within the designated 'Funding' section of the 1+1 MBA program application by the specified deadline.

Deadline

Every partnering program within our network has its unique application form, specific deadlines, and distinct requirements.

For the 1+1 MBA program, you must submit your application no later than 4th January 2023, and abide by the deadline set by your selected Master's program, which typically falls in either December or January. Details regarding funding deadlines for the 1+1 MBA partnering programs can be found on the respective course page on the Graduate Admissions website.



Selection process

The shortlisting process is scheduled to occur in the initial weeks of April, and prospective candidates can anticipate interview invitations towards the end of April.
